Frequently Asked Questions

To invite your co-parent:

  1. Go to Settings in the app
  2. Tap Invite Co-Parent
  3. Enter their email address
  4. They'll receive an invitation to create an account and connect with you

Once they accept, you'll both have access to the shared calendar, messaging, and expense tracking.

You and your co-parent share one live custody schedule that you edit together:

  1. Go to Schedule in the app
  2. Set your repeating weekly pattern length
  3. For each day, assign custody to Parent A, Parent B, Both, or None, and set transfer times and a transfer location
  4. Add override days for holidays or special occasions that replace the normal pattern
  5. Your edits save to the shared schedule and sync in real time with your co-parent

There's no proposal step — you both edit the same shared schedule and agree on it together. Changes are versioned and a history is kept.

To add a payment or expense:

  1. Go to the Payments tab
  2. Tap + Add
  3. Select the payment type: Child Support, Alimony, or Split
  4. Enter the description and amount
  5. For split expenses, use the slider to set your percentage (e.g., 50/50 or custom split)
  6. Set the due date and repeat frequency (Once, Weekly, Monthly, etc.)
  7. Tap Save Payment

Use the Summary button to view totals by status (Verified, Pending, Overdue) and the Verify button to confirm payments received.

Payment verification ensures both parents agree a payment was made:

  • When one parent marks a payment as paid, it shows as Pending Verification
  • The other parent can tap Verify to confirm they received the payment
  • Once verified, the payment status changes to Verified (green)
  • Payments past due date without verification show as Overdue (red)

This creates a clear audit trail for all financial transactions.

Absolutely. Security is our top priority:

  • Encrypted messaging
  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • Two-factor authentication available
  • Court-compliant data handling
  • Regular security audits

We never sell your data and only share information when legally required (e.g., valid court orders). See our Privacy Policy for details.

Custom Override Days are special dates that always override the normal custody pattern:

  • Use them for holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.)
  • Birthdays or special family events
  • Any recurring date that should always go to a specific parent

To add one, go to Schedule ? scroll to Custom Override Days ? tap the + button. Set the date, assign to a parent, and optionally add a label like "Christmas Day".

You both work in the same shared schedule and agree on it together:

  1. Edits are made directly to the shared schedule and sync in real time to your co-parent
  2. When you both have the editor open, presence is shown, and day-level editing avoids clashes so you don't both change the same day at once
  3. Both co-parents can review and agree to the schedule, making it the single source of truth
  4. Changes are versioned and a history is kept, so you always have a record of previous schedules

There are no separate proposals to send back and forth — you simply edit the shared schedule together.
